Have you ever experienced information overload?
Most of you probably have.
If you are stuck in a rut and buying information products, online programs and other things you think are going to solve your problem of not growing a business. You are most likely are suffering from “information overload.”
This is when you are constantly looking for something that will actually work, if your bookshelf is full of books and info products, if your hard drive is full of downloadable reports and how-to videos and you are not making the money you want to make, then you are suffering from “information overload.”
Don’t panic, I suffered from this exact disease for years.
I was able to get my passive residual income to a point that allowed my wife to stay home with the kids and was earning a good second salary in my spare time. But then I got stuck, it stopped growing. That’s when I started buying just about every product I could, reading every book, listening to audio seminars, watching online video courses.
It didn’t help.
It gave me “Entrepreneurial A.D.D.” I wanted to try all these different businesses, I wanted to jump into a ton of different opportunities. I spread my time to thin, I didn’t stay focused on the things that I was good at. The path to my end goal of financial freedom became very cloudy.
I became very frustrated, I started staying up later, waking up earlier, thinking this product, this report, this book, this video course was going to be the thing that sparks everything back on track.
But it didn’t happen.
Has this ever happened to you?
If not, Congrats! You are focused and determined. But if you have ever been at this point, maybe some of you reading this course right now are at this point.
There is hope.
You see, if you are staying up late, getting up early, searching for the next big thing, or the next opportunity. This tells me you have what it takes to succeed, you just need to cure “information overload” and/or “Entrepreneurial A.D.D.”
How do you do that?
Most of the information products focus on a Tactical level, never on a strategic level.
Information Overload is really a symptom.
Entrepreneurial A.D.D. is a symptom of another issue all together.
This goes back to the section on being a Strategic Entrepreneur.
Have you ever walked into a book store? (YES…)
Did you PASS OUT from all the information in all those books?
NO!
Information overload is just a lack of focused energy. Stop searching for the answers outside of yourself.
